Abseil Posts

Part of the Facade Access range - Abseil posts are also referred to as abseil anchors, abseil points or abseil eyebolts. The EdgeSeil™ abseil posts (Patent Pending) are a versatile solution for façade access.
 

EdgeSeilâ„¢ Post has a low profile compared to alternative façade and rope access systems. It can be installed to a variety of structures such as Steel, Concrete, Hollowcore concrete and Concrete metal deck.

Product Details

Abseil anchors, in whichever form they may come require that the parapet/coping of the building be able to take the forces of an abseil rope going up and over the side of the building. EdgeSeilâ„¢ Abseil posts can be installed beneath decking so as to not be visible when not in use. EdgeSeilâ„¢ Abseil post is available in Galvanised and Stainless steel material options.

Versatile solution for facade and rope access.

Ideal alternative for areas where space does not allow a davit arm to be installed.

Must be installed in pairs in accordance with LOLER guidelines.

Safety Information

All safety equipment of this nature needs, by law, regular inspection and maintenance. Maintenance and Retest service and reminders can be provided by our approved testing partners.
Fixed line fall prevention and arrest systems need regular inspection and recertification every 12 months. 

Abseil points and suspensions rails require inspection and re-certification every 6 months.
